Podcast - Evaluation Question 3

2 comments:

  1. Great interview! Make sure you have considered what kind of product you have created, and consider the possibility of entering your film into competitions to raise interest.

Oh and make sure you're clear it is question 3! It says 2 on your podcast label.

    1. I adjusted the title in YouTube and added an annotation into the video so it should in theory no longer confuse anyone, hopefully.

I have created a film piece that hopefully could be entered into competitions or even maybe production schemes, examples include 4Talent, 48 Hour Film Challenge and BAFTA: Short Film and Short Animation Award. This illustrates the wide variety of options available to me in order to distribute and widen my audience. However, most of the competitions and schemes available are primarily for short films and 'Depict!' which is part of Bristol's Encounters Festival is where the filmmakers have to create just a 90 second clip of originality. Though, these may help me gain recognition, it may struggle to directly help the success and widen the audience to my film.

However, I did find that the British Council screening scheme would take on various film festivals around the world for you and screen you film and this can be illustrated in greater depths on their website (http://film.britishcouncil.org/)
